The New York Bangla Film Festival (NYBFF), hosted by Bengalis of New York (BoNY), is an annual celebration of Bengali cinema and storytelling.
Since its inception, the festival has provided a global platform for both emerging and established voices from the Bengali diaspora and beyond.

Asian & Diaspora Competition
Open to fictional feature films from Asia and the global diaspora (minimum 70 minutes) produced in 2025.
Bengali Panorama
This segment highlights a selected collection of fiction and documentary films specifically from Bangladesh and West Bengal.
Women Filmmakers Section
A dedicated platform for features, shorts, and documentaries directed by female creators to highlight unique perspectives.
Short & Independent Films
A showcase for independent talent, featuring creative and unfiltered short films from around the world.
